Salary: $18 - $23 per hour

This is an international food manufacturing and distribution business with a reputation for producing the finest products. The Accounting Clerk will be joining a tenured team. We are open to interviewing candidates with entry level accounting skills. This is a temporary to hire opportunity, Monday through Friday 8 AM – 5 PM with some overtime during peak season.

Job Details

Our company is seeking a dynamic Consulting Accounting Clerk to join our expanding team. This position will play a pivotal role in the financial success of our organization by ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be detail‑oriented, proactive, and have a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial operations.

Responsibilities

Processing and recording transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and procedures.

Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, payment follow‑ups, and reconciliation of discrepancies.

Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.

Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date financial records.

Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry, financial calculations, and report generation.

Collaborating with our consulting team to provide financial insights and recommendations.

Assisting in the development and implementation of improved accounting processes and systems.

Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Providing support in all areas of financial management as needed.

Qualifications

A minimum of 6 months of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a related field.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.

Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Ability to work independently and take initiative in solving problems.

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
