Accounting Specialist

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team in Fresno, California. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounting and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

- Process and monitor accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

- Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and collection efforts.

- Perform detailed account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

- Oversee billing functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

- Utilize Quick Books to track and manage financial data efficiently.

- Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation for audits and reporting purposes.

- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve discrepancies and inquiries.

- Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary reports.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting operations. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

- Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Strong knowledge of billing functions and account reconciliation.

- Experience with Quick Books and other accounting software.

- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and team members.

- Familiarity with accounting principles and compliance standards.

- Capacity to work independently while meeting deadlines.
