The RoleOWL Services is searching for highly motivated people interested in being taught a trade in the Underground Storage Tank (UST) compliance testing industry. Technicians will perform a variety of services within the Gasoline Service Station Industry, including precision underground tank and line tightness testing, leak detector testing, ATG certification, stage I & II vapor recovery testing, cathodic protection testing, secondary containment testing, and third‑party facility operations inspections for gas stations.
Additional duties include containment sump repair, gasoline and diesel fuel tank cleaning, and minor system maintenance.
- Prepping the site for testing.
- Setting up testing and safety equipment.
- Removing manhole lids for underground storage tank access.
- Driving a DOT‑registered commercial motor vehicle.
- Mechanical background and experience with hand tools, trades, or industrial/commercial settings.
- Ability to lift 10–50 lbs and perform frequent kneeling, bending, handling, reaching, and standing.
- Capability to climb ladders to install and retrieve equipment.
- Strong independent work ethic and good communication skills.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, safety, and technical protocols is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of technology – tablet, phone, computer – for documentation.
- Willingness to travel in a multi‑state region and stay away from home days/weeks; hotels and a generous per diem are provided.
- Pass a company‑paid DOT physical & drug screen and possess a clean driving record.
