Base Pay Range$17.00/hr - $20.00/hr
Responsibilities- Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including required systems start‑ups, cash handling, and ensuring floors and stockrooms are ready for the business day.
- Manage back‑door opening for vendor deliveries.
- Process product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
- Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Assist and coach team members with warehouse and vendor ordering processes, including order exceptions and reverse logistics.
- Register all sales accurately, including scanning errors, price verifications, price modifications, and voids.
- Review and develop displays, including promotional, seasonal, and super‑store structures. Complete reset and revision tasks.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts across stockroom and overstock locations.
- Execute basic department pricing, ensure accurate signage, and comply with pricing regulations.
- Assist with bookkeeping: cash reports, counts, ledgers, bill payments.
- Support maintenance of store appearance, request repairs, and ensure compliance with regulations regarding regulated products.
- Ensure bag checks and compliance, report disciplinary issues and customer complaints.
- Complete special assignments as assigned.
- Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Model and share customer service best practices with all team members, demonstrating Walgreens service traits such as proactive help, identifying needs, and servicing until satisfied.
- Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager.
- Communicate assigned tasks to team members when store management is not present.
- Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.
- One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
- Knowledge of store inventory control.
- Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records may be considered.
- Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
