Location: Omaha / Fremont, NE
Pay Rate: $20-$23 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
About the Role
Bear Staffing is seeking a Branch Coordinator to support daily office operations for a company in the modular building and storage industry. This role is heavily focused on accounts payable support, billing research, and customer service
, with a high volume of inbound and outbound phone communication. The Branch Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining accurate records, resolving billing questions, and supporting overall branch operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies and procedures
- Greet and assist visitors, vendors, and suppliers as needed
- Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound customer and vendor calls
, demonstrating strong phone etiquette and professionalism - Provide customer service support by addressing inquiries and routing issues appropriately
- Support accounts payable by researching billing discrepancies and invoice questions
- Process customer invoices and assist with billing issue resolution
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve customer account concerns
- Perform month-end close activities including reconciliations, reporting, and data tracking
- Provide general office and administrative support (supplies, mail, timekeeping, IT coordination, onboarding support)
- Generate and process purchase orders for parts and materials
- Assist with branch reporting, documentation, and internal coordination
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of administrative, customer service, or accounting support experience
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
- Professional phone presence with experience handling frequent calls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license (occasional travel may be required)
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree
- Experience with billing systems or accounting support
- Experience with Salesforce, SAP, Tableau, Hyperion, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Teams/Zoom
