The Logistics Technician supports day-to-day logistics and warehouse operations, ensuring high standards for safety, accuracy, productivity, and customer service. This role is responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling activities in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate can work independently, manage multiple tasks, and proactively support operational efficiency while strictly adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

• Receive, sort, package, palletize, and ship materials and products
• Transfer materials to and from storage locations
• Prepare cylinders for shipment, including labeling, inspection, wrapping, barcode scanning, and pallet loading
• Perform shipping and receiving transactions in ERP systems (SAP HANA)
• Prepare shipping documentation in compliance with company policy and DOT regulations
• Coordinate deliveries and pickups with common carriers and internal locations
• Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks and containers
• Load and unload sea containers following IMO, IMDG, and Customs requirements
• Maintain accurate inventory control records and perform cycle counts
• Assist with field audits, quality checks, and process validation
• Escalate safety or quality concerns promptly
• Maintain a clean, secure, and organized warehouse environment
• Comply with OSHA, MSDS

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of logistics, warehouse, or shipping/receiving experience
• Certified forklift operator
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and roll cylinders weighing up to 200 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout a warehouse for extended periods
• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to wear a full-face respirator (must pass medical and physical testing)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Experience with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
• Knowledge of 49 CFR, 15 CFR, DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations
• Ability to follow all safety protocols and work instructions

• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
• Experience filing IMO, AES, and ISF documentation

• Fast-paced warehouse environment
• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and manual handling
• Significant manual dexterity for data entry
• Must remain clean-shaven and medically qualified for respirator use
