With a high level of independence and minimum supervision, the Software Engineer – Backend – Python will be responsible for the following job duties:
- Develop backend components to improve responsiveness and overall performance.
- Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.
- Work directly with Subject Matter Experts to translate requirements into specifications and code.
- Troubleshoot and tune REST services and database performance issues.
- Develop web applications deployed to the cloud.
- Deliver simple, sustainable, and repeatable solutions and processes.
This position allows for telecommuting.
This position requires 30% travel to unanticipated client sites throughout U.S.
QualificationsThis position requires a U.S. bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in CS, CE, EE, or a closely related field; and four (4) years of experience as a SW/Proj Engr, Tech Lead or related occupation.

Salary$215,200 – $220,000 per year;
