Senior Backend Engineer – Relocation Opportunity (USA)

At Definity, a leading technology company focused on AI-driven solutions and digital transformation, we are continuously expanding our team to support innovative, high-impact projects. We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join the Sales Management team for a high-impact project with a leading automotive company headquartered in Fremont, California.

The Senior Backend Developer will work on a mission-critical, in-house CRM platform that supports global sales operations and covers the full sales lifecycle, directly impacting revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

• Interest in relocating and living in the United States
• On-site position in Fremont, California (TN Visa sponsorship provided)
• Must have Mexican nationality
• Valid Mexican passport required

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience building backend systems in production environments
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Experience working with real-time data pipelines and event-driven systems
• Proficiency in Python and/or Go
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
• Experience with large-scale data systems such as Click House
• Hands‑on experience with Open Search or similar search technologies
• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka and RabbitMQ
• Strong understanding of scalable system design and high‑throughput architectures
• Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written) is required

Nice to have

• Experience working with AI-driven or agentic workflow systems
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for a global CRM platform
• Build high‑performance microservices capable of handling real‑time data processing
• Architect systems that support high throughput and large‑scale data environments
• Contribute to the development of AI-assisted workflows that enhance sales productivity
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance across distributed environments
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including product, frontend, and data engineering
