Python Automation Engineer

Fremont, CA - must be onsite 5 days a week

• Two 45-minute interviews per candidates back-to-back
• Interviews will consist of technical assessments and team fit.

• This project is about building and ensuring the quality of software applications through advanced testing and automation.
• In simple terms, the person on this project is responsible for making sure the application works correctly, is reliable, and doesn’t break when changes are made.

• Design and develop advanced test suites using object-oriented programming methodologies.
• Implement and execute test strategies across all supported platforms and programming languages to improve overall product quality and test coverage.
• Perform both functional testing and automation testing

• Develop and execute backend integration tests and testing for RESTful APIs.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks and automated test cases using Selenium and Python
  .
• Design and execute integration, regression, and stress tests using industry-standard testing tools.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and Developers to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
• Perform Web and UI testing to validate user experience and front-end functionality.
• Define, implement, and maintain test plans, test specifications, and test suites.
• Provide technical leadership by driving engineering best practices and supporting the planning and execution of large-scale, cross-functional, and company-wide critical initiatives.

• Partner with Business Analysts and Developers to translate requirements into test cases.
• Support cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

• Lead or contribute to large-scale, cross-functional, and business-critical initiatives.

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Web and UI testing methodologies.
