Senior Firmware Engineer

As a Sr. Firmware Engineer, you will be a key member of our Research and Development team, responsible for the full development lifecycle of firmware and embedded system software for server BMCs. This includes design, development, testing, and debugging of software that interfaces with both Linux and Windows operating systems.

• Design and develop server BMC firmware, including kernel configuration and porting.
• Adapt hardware and implement sensor monitoring and thermal management.
• Provide firmware update functionality and implement customized design functions within the BMC.
• Collaborate with other teams and modify firmware based on customer requirements, maintaining communication with customers to clarify requirements and address concerns.
• Conduct thorough testing of BMC firmware to ensure functionality and stability.
• Collect and analyze logs for failure systems to help manufacturing/customer determine problems and solve them.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded systems development.
• Strong understanding of Intel/AMD platform adaptation development.
• Knowledge of GPU‑BMC related architecture and communication.
• In‑depth knowledge of Aspeed BMC chip management functions and IPMI/Redfish standards.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming and embedded Linux development.
• Prior server development experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluency in both English and Chinese is highly preferred.
