A global manufacturer of industrial-grade displays is seeking a self‑motivated individual for a Sales Account Manager.
Position SummaryThe Sales Account Manager will manage and grow customer accounts within the display, embedded board, and industrial PC (IPC) market. This role focuses on building strong relationships with OEMs, system integrators, and industrial customers while supporting both new design opportunities and ongoing production business. You will work closely with Sales & Marketing team, engineering, product management, and operations teams to deliver the right solutions and ensure a smooth customer experience from design‑in to mass production to manage opportunities, and support account growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop assigned accounts in the custom display, embedded board, and IPC segments
- Engage customers proactively through calls, email, and virtual meetings to understand project requirements and identify new opportunities
- Respond to inbound inquiries and guide customers through product selection (customize displays, embedded boards, SBCs, panel PCs, box PCs, etc.)
- Prepare and follow up on quotes, proposals, BOM pricing, and project‑based requests
- Support customers through the full design‑in cycle, from evaluation samples to production ramp
- Maintain accurate account, opportunity, and forecast data in the CRM system
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, engineering, operations, logistics, finance) to ensure accurate orders, lead‑time alignment, and on‑time delivery
- Track open projects, monitor customer schedules, and support long‑lifecycle program management
- Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities across product lines (displays, embedded boards, IPC systems, peripherals)
- Stay informed on product roadmaps, industry trends, and competitor offerings in the embedded and industrial hardware space
- Support channel partners, distributors, and regional reps as needed
- 3–5+ years of sales, account management, or customer‑facing experience
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Ability to understand technical hardware concepts and communicate them clearly
- Comfortable managing multiple accounts and handling customer objections
- Experience with CRM systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and self‑motivated
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment
- Experience in the technology, display, IPC or computer hardware industry
- Familiarity with quoting, pricing, and order management for industrial hardware
- Understanding of OEM project cycles, design‑in processes, and long‑lifecycle product support
- Prior experience working with distributors, reps, or channel partners
