Temporary Warehouse Customer Service Assistant
Join OnTrac as a Temporary Warehouse Customer Service Assistant. This role supports Operations Managers with administrative duties and customer service support, interacting with drivers and customers to resolve package discrepancies, ensuring on-time delivery, and maintaining accurate data entry into the OnTrac system.
Location: 41460 Boyce Rd, Fremont, CA 94538
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Shift: Tuesday - Saturday from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Hours subject to change based on the needs of the business.
Duration: Approximately 6 months.
- Track package deliveries, process and document problem packages, research issues when needed and update OnTrac’s proprietary tracking system for customers, the customer service team, and other facilities.
- Assist drivers in the checkout process, verifying that all packages are out for delivery, reporting missing or not out for delivery packages, and preparing packages to go out for delivery if needed.
- Communicate with customers regarding their package status when needed.
- Research, analyze, and report on daily compliances to management and prepare business reports as needed.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of related industry experience and/or training in transportation and delivery or an equivalent combination of education and specific work experience.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, self-manage, and work efficiently in stressful situations.
