CompensationPay Range: $17.90 – $23.25 per hour (may include performance or specialty premiums).
OverviewSupports the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. Assumes shift management duties in the absence of management. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Essential Job Functions- Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
- Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including execution of customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
- Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
- Process buy online/ship to store, hub to store, and store to store transfers and DC add orders promptly; contact customers upon shipment arrivals.
- Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently, following procedure and using the electronic outside purchase order ledger.
- Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently, issue accurate refunds, and stage returned merchandise properly.
- Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
- Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
- Ensure team members adhere to the posted work schedule, obtain approvals for changes/deviations, and clock in/out per policy.
- Perform all store opening/closing duties: day‑end procedures, verify/securing money deposits, prepare bank deposits, ensure night security lights are on, lock doors, arm/disarm alarms, and secure delivery vehicles.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
- Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
- Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
- A.S.E. Certification.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
