What to Expect

Quality Engineering Technician for Casting/BL5 will support Quality Engineers to improve quality and structural integrity of our cars for customers. Technicians will mainly follow day to day quality dashboard for top issue investigation and assembly station audit to identify potential root-cause of on-going quality concerns. Technicians will also support on data collection and documentation of data for quality investigation as well as containment action of urgent quality issue such as part sort and rework process.

They will work closely with Engineers to derive temporary & permanent countermeasure of final yield quality and customer field issue.

What You'll Do

* Monitor interior quality to investigate daily quality issue and proactively contain quickly emerging issue for customer quality improvement

* Review Casting and BL5 line and stations and partake in start-up activities and collaborate with IQT and facilitate trials, validations, and engineering analysis across the quality MY operation

* Review interior process for scrap part, PC handling, and packaging periodically to identify possible failure points for part issue & mutilation concern

* Draft document for quality alert to notify inspection or process for proper inspection or management of process to create awareness high risk Issue SCAR/TSORT promptly to contain urgent issue to protect customer quality management

What You'll Bring

* Basic documentation skill (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

* Precise data collection and analysis skill with basic data measurement tool capability & chart/table drafting skills

* 2+ years of manufacturing background 3D & 2D drawing reading and basic understanding of drawing notation

* Able to set priority in fast-paced working environment with quick response to urgent

* Must have command of English language, both written and verbal

Expected Compensation

$30.50 - $38.85/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
