Position PurposeThe Micro-cleaner is a critical role in the company that ensures the proper cleaning of the cleanroom, controlled environment and GMP laboratory environments.
SchedulePart Time – Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30 p.m. – 2:30 a.m.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Perform cleaning operations under strict guidelines and continually monitor the cleanroom cleaning procedures to ensure all cleanings are completed promptly and correctly.
- Participate in continuous training: cGMP training, technical skills, safety, performance improvement.
- Maintain detail document control (using Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Micro-clean all surfaces within the controlled environment including ceilings, walls, equipment and floors.
- Follow customer standard operating procedures in precise detail, including documentation.
- Identify deviations in cleaning and follow through on corrective and preventative actions (variances).
- Review changes to cGMP documentation and re‑train as needed.
- Assist in cross‑training other Controlled Contamination Services personnel.
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Write simple correspondence.
- Present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Perform all other duties as defined by supervisor.
- Become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one‑year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
