* ** Salary:** $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.

** Full-time, four or five 8-hour shifts per week.  
** Must be willing to work on Saturday and some Sundays.**

** Who You Are:**
* ** 1 + year of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary assistant preferred
*** Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
* Experience with proper animal handling and restraint of cats and dogs
* Ability to perform nursing care in a veterinary hospital setting
* Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
* Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
* Collect laboratory samples for urinalysis, cytology, bloodwork, fecal analysis
* Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments per doctor orders
* Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
* Ensure a clean, safe and organized work environment
