About Pebble

Pebble is a sustainable living startup defining a new way to live, work and explore from anywhere with a 100% electric, hassle-free RV trailer. Built by a team of experts in both automotive and consumer technology, Pebble combines electrification with cutting‑edge automotive technology for a travel trailer experience that removes the hassles RV trailer owners have struggled with for decades.

At Pebble, we are building out the future of lighter, more flexible living. We see a world where your home can be anywhere you want to take it. Pebble blends the best of what it means to be at home, on the road, and off‑grid into something useful and magical. This is a collective effort. Our team is dedicated to making not just products, but a lifestyle that is truly sustainable.

If the idea of building out the future sparks your imagination and intersects with your skills, we'd love to meet you.

The Role

As a Quality Control Lead/Supervisor, you will own quality outcomes on the production floor and lead a team of QC Inspectors to ensure every Pebble RV meets our high standards for craftsmanship, performance, and safety. You'll oversee inspections across critical production steps, mentor and develop your team, and serve as the key liaison between quality, production, and engineering to drive continuous improvement across the line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QC Inspectors, assigning tasks and coordinating coverage to meet production needs while maintaining quality standards
  • Own the development and continuous refinement of inspection checklists, visual standards, acceptance criteria, and quality gate procedures
  • Oversee incoming, in-process, and end-of-line quality inspections, stepping in directly as needed
  • Drive nonconformance identification, documentation, containment, and re‑inspection activities
  • Initiate and communicate quality alerts to address recurring issues; lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • Serve as the primary quality point of contact for production and engineering teams, facilitating timely resolution of quality issues
  • Monitor quality metrics and trends; report findings and improvement initiatives to management
  • Ensure team adherence to standard operating procedures and critical‑to‑quality steps
  • Champion a culture of safety, cleanliness, and continuous improvement on the shop floor
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to balance production targets with quality outcomes
  • Support onboarding and training of new QC team members
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or quality control, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory role
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of hourly production or inspection staff
  • Strong attention to detail and expertise in visual and functional inspection techniques
  • Proficiency with inspection tools (e.g., calipers, thread gauges, paint meters)
  • Experience developing or improving inspection documentation, SOPs, and quality standards
  • Ability to read and follow — and write and teach — work instructions
  • Proficiency with Jira and Google Workspace tools
  • Strong communication, organizational, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
  • Reliable, self‑motivated, and thrives in a fast‑paced startup environment
Bonus If You Have
  • Experience in RV, automotive, or consumer electronics manufacturing
  • Familiarity with MES/ERP systems
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing or quality systems (e.g., 5S, 8D, CAPA, PFMEA)
  • Ability to interpret part drawings, wiring schematics, or test procedures
  • Experience with wiring harnesses as well as low‑voltage (LV) and high‑voltage (HV) connectors
  • Experience assembling or inspecting mechanical or electrical systems
  • Proficiency in CAD software for part and system visualization
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Comfortable working in a hands‑on, shop‑floor environment
Compensation
