The Senior Level Welder is skilled in GTAW welding techniques to assemble containers made from low carbon steel or stainless steel. Welds will be helium leak tested before being exposed to high vacuum and high-pressure processes.
This welder is highly proficient using tools such as metal shear, band saw, cut off saw, leak detector, manual mill, grinders, sanding equipment and general shop tools. Advises and trains junior level welders in safe use of these tools.
Fabricates tooling and equipment as needed for production support and development of new processes. Trains junior level welders in these activities.
Identifies equipment needed for welding area. Maintains safe stock level of consumables used in the welding area.
Supports production by providing mechanical maintenance and repair of equipment as needed.
Maintains vacuum system for bake out ovens.
Maintains shop cleanliness by mopping, dusting, dumping trash and general housekeeping.
This job requires the ability to lift 50lbs.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Welding skill check, background check, and drug test will be performed before hiring.
