Materials Coordinator
Location: Fremont. Travel to San Francisco and Mountain View frequently.
Scope- Receive, unpack, check & verify merchandise/product ensuring accuracy.
- Work closely with the engineering team on activities such as "Car-On-Bench" (COB).
- Utilize SAP, Reynolds and Reynolds, Lightspeed and other SAP tools.
- Use handheld RF tools to receive merchandise into WMS.
- Conduct stock checks, part number verification, cycle counts, and support physical inventory.
- Consolidate loads: pack, re‑pack, wrap product for shipping.
- Label parts during put‑away, picking or shipping process.
- Pick parts for order fulfillment, shipments, scrap requests, etc.
- Ensure orders/shipping materials accompanied by proper delivery docs (revised BOL, manual tag, packing slip, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures & safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean/safe work environment through organization tasks.
- Cross‑train to learn other warehouse functions.
- Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools or stock items and distribute items to production workers or assembly line.
- Maintain accuracy, provide required reports, measurements and logs to KPI guidelines.
- Expertise utilizing a warehouse ERP inventory system, Excel, shipping, receiving, safety management, materials handling, data entry, reporting, etc.
- Work closely with the engineering team on "Car-On-Bench" (COB) - this is the most critical requirement.
- Experience in the automotive industry (associates in automotive tech, wholesale parts at dealerships, parts to service, body shop work, military, large automobile manufacturers, etc.).
- Will work out of the Fremont location but will also travel to San Francisco, and Mountain View frequently.
- Experience and ability working with pallet jacks - forklifts are not required.
- Basic supply chain skills.
- Experience putting together spreadsheets and tables.
- Willing to complete extra work during down times by organizing the shop, stacking tires, disposing of tires, picking up deliveries, etc.
- Comfortable working as a team.
Estimated Min Rate: $25.00
Estimated Max Rate: $30.00/hr+ (depends on experience)
