We are partnering with a leading semiconductor manufacturer seeking experienced Semiconductor Test Technicians to support high-volume automated testing of advanced semiconductor devices. In this role, you’ll set up, run, and troubleshoot automated test equipment on a fast-paced test floor, working closely with engineering and equipment teams to ensure on‑time, high‑quality output for key customers.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on work with testers/handlers, solving technical problems, and contributing directly to production goals in a 100% manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate semiconductor automated test equipment according to documented procedures.
- Ensure all operational documents, logs, and quantity reports are accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner.
- Work closely with Test, Product, and Equipment Engineering teams to ensure test setups are properly completed and optimized.
- Troubleshoot setup and routine tester issues
, and clearly communicate with support personnel to resolve problems quickly. - Meet test priorities, throughput targets, and on‑time delivery goals
. - Collaborate with other test floor team members to meet overall production and quality objectives.
- Proactively identify issues impacting yield, throughput, or quality, and drive resolution.
- Calculate test yield and perform basic data checks to identify abnormal test results.
- Support a 100% manufacturing environment
, following safety, quality, and ESD/cleanroom protocols as required.
- Certification from a vocational/technical school or 3+ years of equivalent experience in the semiconductor industry (test floor or closely related environment).
- Hands‑on experience running semiconductor test equipment (testers, handlers, probers, or related tools).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
, with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and test issues. - Proven ability to work with minimal supervision while staying team‑oriented and collaborative.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
, including professional email communication. - Excel skills for basic data entry, yield calculations, and report reviews.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 lbs of equipment or packaged parts as needed.
- Flexibility to work additional hours/overtime when necessary to meet critical production or customer goals.
- Ability and commitment to reliably meet the posted shift schedule

- Prior semiconductor test floor or wafer sort/final test experience.
- Experience with testers such as:
Advantest 93K, Teradyne Uflex, - Experience with handlers such as:
Hontech, Seiko Epson, Chroma - Experience with probers such as: TEL, Semics
- Experience working with thermal control systems and hands‑on troubleshooting of testers/handlers.
- Background supporting high‑volume manufacturing and working to production metrics (yield, UPH, OEE, etc.).
