We are looking for a Repair Technician to support our client onsite in Fremont, CA. This is a W-2, full-time, short-term contract role with competitive pay based on experience, education, and location, and with full benefits, PTO, and company culture.
Position OverviewWe are seeking Repair Technicians to support a short-term, on-site manufacturing project at a Fremont facility. This role involves hands-on work with server hardware and components, including inspection, cleaning, assembly, and disassembly activities. The position requires attention to detail, comfort with technical tasks, and the ability to follow documented processes in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform visual inspections and basic functional checks to identify abnormalities.
- Accurately document work performed in unit history records.
- Clean and degrease server products as required.
- Assemble and disassemble server products and subcomponents.
- Perform offline checks at the detail or subcomponent level (formal testing excluded).
- Verify completed work meets documented requirements.
- Safely lift and handle materials up to 30 lbs.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Hands-on mechanical or technical aptitude.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced production environment.
- On-site role at a manufacturing facility.
- Short-term, project-based assignment.
- Training and process guidance will be provided as needed.
