Healthcare Executive Placements, Inc. (HCEPInc) – Interim House Supervisor

Schedule: Full Time, 3 12's Schedule, 7am – 7:30pm

Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (possibility of extension)

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: $25 to $28 (OT, DT, on‑call compensation qualify)
  • Per Diems:
    Lodging $145 per day, Meals & Incidentals $92 per day (daily, 7 days: $1,659 per week)
  • Auto Stipend: $25 per day (daily, 7 days: $175 per week)

Total Weekly Compensation (Hourly + Per Diems + Auto Stipend): $2,734 to $2,954 per week

  • Benefits:

Summary

This position assists in implementing best practice models, patient care delivery systems, investigation into concerns, collaboration with physicians and other team members, resource allocation, equipment maintenance, safe environment creation, clinical supervision, competency and licensing, delegation aligned to scope of practice, and performing clinical duties as required. Collaborates with Nursing Clinical Practice to ensure compliance with the Nursing Practice Act, The Joint Commission, federal, state, and local requirements.

Functions
  • Recommends developmental opportunities, builds collaborative cross‑functional relationships, solicits feedback, mentors, and coaches to drive performance improvement.
  • Supports professional growth, provides training and development, executes performance management guidelines, adapts to organizational change, fosters open dialogue, and motivates team members.
  • Supervises daily activities, monitors execution and completion of tactics, ensures policy adherence, aligns team efforts, resolves issues, develops work plans, coordinates resources, removes obstacles, identifies improvement opportunities, and influences teams to execute operational objectives.
  • Supervises hospital administrative functions to support patient care: facilitates meetings, identifies action items, maintains utilization and productivity, ensures data collection and interpretation, oversees cross‑functional activities including safety, labor relations, and quality/risk management, maintains survey readiness, and meets budget targets with staffing and placement decisions.
  • Manages care delivery operations and programs: supports large/complex work streams, supervises data collection, monitors daily operational activities, coordinates resources, supervises multidisciplinary teams, implements emergency preparedness programs, coaches the team, and supervises nursing services within a 24/7 operational environment aligned with cost, quality, and clinical utilization standards.
  • Supervises improvements to operations and technology processes: executes cross‑functional team work on strategic projects, responds to escalations, monitors strategic plans, and tracks performance metrics for integrated services across the continuum of care.
  • Ensures safe, quality, and standardized care delivery: monitors continuous improvement of quality and safety, ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and designs implementation of systems, processes, and methods to evaluate and improve patient care within the assigned department and across the continuum of care.
Qualifications
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in patient care delivery.
  • Associate’s degree in Business, Nursing, Health Care, or related field AND minimum two (2) years of experience in business operations, clinical health care, or related field OR minimum three (3) years of experience in business operations, clinical health care, or related field.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
  • Registered Nurse License (California) required.
  • BLS required.
