Weekends:
No weekend coverage expected. If weekend support is needed in the future, they would hire separately for that.
This is a new role within the Test Operations group to support internal engineering teams.
The position primarily acts as a front-line help desk for incoming engineering requests.
Core ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for engineers needing support.
Monitor incoming tickets in Unity (current system) and eventually Salesforce (transitioning soon).
Dispatch the correct technicians or equipment engineers based on ticket type.
Be physically present on the test floor to assist engineers as they walk up for support.
Perform data entry, track data via Excel, and help identify issues through basic reporting.
Rarely assist with lifting tasks (e.g., load boards), but technical lifting is not a core function.
Must-HavesTest floor experience (operator, technician, or similar).
Must understand basic test floor equipment:
- Testers
- Handlers
- Probers
Must be able to communicate calmly with internal customers (engineers), especially when systems are down.
Nice-to-Haves- Experience with ticketing tools:
Unity, Salesforce, Service Now, Plan On, or similar. - Strong data entry accuracy and Excel proficiency.
- Prior experience with Salesforce (training will be provided).
Deep technical knowledge of testers (e.g., troubleshooting continuity failures).
They only need to know what the equipment is, not how to repair it.
Interview ProcessInitial screening
If the candidate seems like a good fit, they will be invited on-site to meet the team and see the test floor environment.
This helps confirm culture fit and ensure they understand the nature of the role.
