Scrum Master

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in Data Business Analysis to lead Agile delivery for data-driven initiatives. The role requires facilitating Scrum ceremonies, enabling high-performing teams, and translating business and data requirements into actionable user stories while ensuring timely and quality delivery.

Scrum Master Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Coach teams on Agile/Scrum principles and ensure adherence to Scrum framework and best practices.
• Remove impediments and proactively manage dependencies and risks.
• Work closely with Product Owners to support backlog grooming, prioritization, and release planning.
• Track and report sprint metrics such as velocity, burndown, and delivery commitments.
• Foster collaboration between engineering, data, QA, and business stakeholders.

Data Business Analyst Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document data requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and data specifications.
• Analyze data sources, data flows, transformations, and reporting requirements.
• Work with Data Engineers, BI teams, and QA to validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Support dashboard, reporting, and analytics use cases with strong data validation logic.
• Assist in UAT planning and validation for data-driven features.

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience as a Data Business Analyst or in data-focused projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and SDLC.
• Solid knowledge of data concepts:
  • SQL querying and data validation
  • Data warehousing and ETL processes
  • Reporting and dashboarding concepts
• Experience working with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, or similar).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams and multiple dependencies.

• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master).
• Experience in Healthcare, EHR, or regulated domains.

• Strong facilitation and conflict-resolution skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Proactive, results‑driven, and adaptable to change.
• Ability to bridge business, data, and technology teams effectively.
