The Junior HRIS Project Coordinator supports the planning and delivery of HR technology initiatives across the People Technology portfolio. This role assists in coordinating project activities for HR systems such as HRIS/HCM, Time & Attendance, scheduling, and related workforce applications. The position works closely with HR, IT, Payroll, Security, vendors, and business stakeholders to help ensure projects are delivered on time, documented properly, and aligned with business priorities and compliance needs.
Key Responsibilities- Support end-to-end delivery of HRIS/People Technology projects by coordinating tasks, meetings, and project documentation.
- Assist in maintaining project plans, timelines, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and action item tracking.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (HR, IT, Payroll, Security, Operations) and external vendors to follow up on deliverables.
- Help organize requirements-gathering sessions; capture notes, decisions, and translate inputs into documented requirements/user stories.
- Support solution design reviews by tracking decisions, changes, and approvals.
- Assist with testing coordination (SIT/UAT), including test schedule tracking, test script organization, defect logging, and follow-ups.
- Support go-live readiness activities such as cutover checklist tracking, training logistics, communications, and hypercare coordination.
- Prepare and share weekly status reports, meeting minutes, and stakeholder updates.
- Ensure documentation is current (process flows, SOPs, training guides, release notes) and stored properly.
- Escalate risks/issues to the project lead/manager with clear context and recommended next steps.
- 1–3 years of experience supporting HRIS, IT, or enterprise system projects (project coordination, PMO, or analyst experience acceptable).
- Basic understanding of HR and/or Payroll processes (e.g., employee data, timekeeping, approvals, payroll inputs).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with common project tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams/Zoom).
- Comfortable working with vendors and internal teams to track progress and follow up on action items.
- Exposure to HR platforms such as Success Factors, Workforce Software, UKG, ADP, Workday, Oracle HCM, or similar.
- Exposure to Time & Attendance, scheduling, or workforce management tools.
- Familiarity with recruiting platforms such as Greenhouse (or equivalent).
- Understanding of basic testing concepts (UAT, defect tracking) and change management activities.
