Overviewof the Role
As a BCBA at AGES Learning Solutions, you will guide the development and execution of personalized behavior intervention plans. You will assess client needs, supervise Behavior Technicians, and oversee interventions aimed at skill acquisition and reducing problem behaviors.
Responsibilities- Assessment
:
Conduct comprehensive skills assessments to evaluate the need for ABA services; perform functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify causes of challenging behaviors and design positive behavior intervention plans (PBIPs); analyze data and monitor client progress to adjust treatment plans. - Intervention
:
Develop and implement individualized teaching programs and PBIPs based on client needs and goals; supervise and provide feedback to Behavior Technicians to ensure accurate delivery of intervention plans; collaborate with families and professionals to ensure cohesive and consistent interventions across home, school, and clinic settings. - Supervision & Leadership
:
Provide ongoing supervision, support, and training to Behavior Technicians while upholding ethical and professional standards; conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback; participate in team meetings, case conferences, and consultations to coordinate and optimize client care. - Case Management
:
Coordinate with insurance companies for assessment of services, treatment plan reviews, and service authorizations; manage client and Behavior Technician schedules; keep families and caregivers informed about client progress and program updates. - Staff Training & Coaching
:
Provide initial and ongoing training for new hires and Behavior Technicians on ABA principles, intervention techniques, and session management; deliver real-time feedback during sessions; create and maintain training materials; keep detailed records of training activities and evaluations. - Professional Development
:
Stay current with ABA research and best practices through continuing education opportunities; contribute to clinic growth through participation in quality improvement initiatives and potential research activities.
- Master's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and demonstrated experience in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and making data-driven decisions.
- A valid driving license.
- Base salary start: $90,000.00 per annum
. - Sign-on bonus: $3,000
. - Annual performance bonus: $10,000 – $25,000
. - Monthly performance bonus up to $500 for achieving targeted billable hours.
- Hourly bonus up to $60 per hour for exceeding billable hour targets.
