Overview

School Speech Language Pathologist - Fremont, California. A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year at an elementary school in Fremont, CA. This contract role focuses exclusively on pre-kindergarten intake assessments, making it ideal for professionals with expertise in early childhood speech and language evaluation. The role requires onsite presence and offers a consistent 40-hour workweek through June 3, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-K intake speech and language assessments
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support early intervention planning
  • Maintain accurate documentation according to district guidelines
  • Adhere to state licensure and credentialing requirements
Qualifications
  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license from the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA)
  • Clear or professional Speech Services Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) preferred but not required
  • Candidates with fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or bilingual abilities will be given preference
  • Current California Educator Credential is a plus but not mandatory
  • Clinical Fellows (CFs) are not eligible for this role

This position is fully onsite at an elementary school in Fremont, CA, requiring regular in-person attendance.
