Ascend is looking for a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Assessor to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary team. This position is ideal for professionals who love working with preschool-aged children and prefer a role focused exclusively on assessments (ages 3–5). You will play a critical role in supporting early identification and intervention, without the demands of a therapy caseload.

As a Preschool-Only SLP Assessor
, you will:

• Conduct standardized speech-language assessments for preschool-aged students (3–5 years)
• Develop and deliver timely, well-written evaluation reports
• Participate in IEP meetings
  , presenting results and providing professional recommendations
• Work collaboratively with school teams, families, and other specialists to support student success
• Maintain organized documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines

This is an assessment-only role with no ongoing therapy caseloads, which is ideal for clinicians who enjoy diagnostics, flexibility, and focused interactions.

Compensation & Perks:
💰 $95,000–$125,000/year (based on experience and schedule)

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active California SLP License (or eligible for licensure)
• Experience with preschool assessments and IEPs preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization, time management, and collaboration skills
