Gotion Inc., based in Silicon Valley, CA, is building a new manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL and operates R&D centers in Ohio, China, Japan, and Europe. The company pioneers next‑generation electric vehicle and energy storage technologies (lithium batteries and related systems) to accelerate electrified transportation and sustainable development.

• Develop and manage the budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning process; build foundational financial models for the company.
• Collaborate with company leaders to create financial forecasts/budgets that guide decision‑making and benchmark performance.
• Conduct scenario analysis to support senior management’s strategic decisions.
• Analyze actuals versus budget/forecast and prior year, serving as a management advisor on financial matters.
• Provide timely, detailed, and meaningful insights on business performance to support decision making.
• Work with senior management and the Operating Committee to assess macroeconomic and industry factors impacting financial performance; partner on revenue and profitability forecasts.
• Research competitor financial reports and market trends to inform short‑ and long‑term decision making.
• Perform ad‑hoc analysis as required to assist in management decision making.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;
  Master’s or MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of financial analysis and modelling experience.
• Experience with a Big 4 firm (3+ years) and private industry (3+ years) is strongly desired.
• Ability to analyse, prioritise and execute in a high‑pressure environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.) and ability to manipulate large data sets and build reports.
• Positive attitude and adaptability to changing workload and job requirements.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative relationships with cross‑functional teams.

Base pay range: $130,000 – $180,000 USD (dependent on skills, qualifications, experience, and location).
