Job Purposes:
Provide cost estimates and cost planning, and delivering the final cost plan.
Assist in writing procurement reports and feasibility studies.
Manage all phases of the procurement process, including the pre-qualification phase, and create a bid list, bid analysis, bid report, and compilation of contract documents.
Participate effectively in the change control processes and post-contract cost variances.
On larger projects, oversee cost checks and appraisals and make sure that both processes are timely and correct.
Create monthly post-contract cost reports.
Contribute to value engineering; negotiate and accept final invoices.
At all stages of the project, keep in touch with the client and other consultants.
Find possibilities to expand your business with current clients, inform the relevant line manager of these opportunities, and make use of your marketing database.
Determine how cost management processes, templates, and products can be improved, then forward your suggestions to the relevant line manager.
Required qualifications:
2+ years of Construction Estimating
