Speed Interconnect Test​/Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Independently set up and execute high-speed / high-frequency measurements using VNA (Keysight, R&S).
• Perform S-parameter measurements (IL, RL/iRL, crosstalk) for cables, connectors, risers, and interconnect assemblies.
• Apply proper calibration and de-embedding techniques (SOLT, TRL).
• Analyze results against PCIe Gen5/Gen6 or other high-speed interconnect specifications.
• Support customer-facing technical meetings, explain test methodology, results, and failure mechanisms.
• Prepare clear test reports and presentations for internal and external use.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in high-speed or high-frequency testing.
• Practical experience with VNA-based measurements.
• Strong understanding of signal integrity fundamentals.
• Ability to work independently and communicate technical topics clearly in English.

• Experience with PCI-SIG, OCP, or similar industry standards.
• Background in cable, connector, or interconnect validation.
• Familiarity with de-embedding, renormalization, and time-domain analysis.
• Experience supporting OEM or hyperscale customers.
