Job Location: 39560 Stevenson PL, Suite 112, Fremont, CA 94539 (allows telecommuting & requires 30% travel to unanticipated client sites throughout U.S.)
Responsibilities
Design and build highly scalable data pipelines for near real-time and batch data ingestion, processing, and data integration.Coordinate the creation and documentation of ETL pipeline testing to meet customer needs for reporting, BI solutions, and Data Science.Mentor and advocate to ensure the successful adoption of new tools, processes, and best practices across the organization.Recognize potential issues and risks during the project implementation and suggest mitigation strategies.Communicate and own the process of manipulating and merging large datasets.Serve as a key point of contact between the API teams and the project/ functional leads.Work directly with business leaders to understand data requirements.Propose and develop solutions that enable effective decision-making and drive business objectives.Prepare advanced project implementation plans which highlight major milestones and deliverables, leveraging standard methods and work planning tools.Participate in the preparation of high-quality project deliverables that are valued by the business and present them in such a manner that they are easily understood by project stakeholders.Qualifications
This position requires telecommuting flexibility and 30% travel to unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S., a U.S. bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in CS, CE, EE, or closely related field, and four (4) years of experience as a SW Engr, Consultant, or related occupation.
