PrimaryDuties & Responsibilities
- This position demands a hands-on approach to product performance, yield optimization, and production troubleshooting. Your expertise will guide the seamless integration of new products into existing systems and ensure our continued leadership in the market.
- Working closely with process engineers (Lithography, Etch, Metallization, Thin Film, Epi) to develop flows, process modules, and managing project research and development through the FEOL and BEOL processing.
- Detail oriented wafer traveler processing instruction and Camstar flow generation.
- Work with Design and Process teams to establish proper specifications and key process parameters for SPC.
- Respond quickly to line holds with metrology validation, microscope inspections, bright light, and disposition wafers accordingly.
- Collaborate and develop integration flows and optimal and highest yield processes.
- Work with contract manufacturers and downstream customers to respond to issues with 8D, PFMEA, and root cause analysis.
- Data analysis and mining to establish process commonalities for yield or line down issues to keep lots moving 24/7.
- A Master’s degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
- At minimum 10 years of industrial experience in product engineering, preferably with a focus on semiconductor lasers or related optoelectronic devices such as photodiodes, semiconductor optical modulators, and semiconductor optical amplifiers.
- Proficient in data analysis and statistical evaluation related to product engineering.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of managing complex projects and diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing and preempting issues.
- Willingness to travel frequently to manufacturing sites.
- Excellent communication skills, essential for effective teamwork cross-disciplinary collaboration on photodiodes, semiconductor optical modulators, and semiconductor optical amplifiers.
