Join an advanced robotics engineering team to design, build, and deploy next-generation robotic systems in a fast-paced, hands-on lab environment. In this role, you will take ownership of robotic path planning, computer vision pipelines, and full-stack system integration (hardware + software) for 6-axis robotic platforms used in specialized, high-precision applications.
Required Skills:- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field
- 3–10 years of hands‑on experience in robotics manipulation and computer vision
- Strong intuition for system hardware, physics, and real-world constraints
- Experience with robotics, machine learning / deep learning, or reinforcement learning
- Proficiency in C++ and Python in Linux environments
- Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Experience using Git or similar version control systems
- Ability to work independently and own projects end-to-end
- Understanding of statistical process control and analysis
- Program robotic paths and behaviors for 6‑axis robotic arms
- Develop and integrate computer vision and learning pipelines
- Integrate robotic systems using ROS / ROS2
- Design, build, test, and troubleshoot robotic systems (HW & SW)
- Integrate and tune sensors and actuators to optimize system performance and accuracy
- Develop user interfaces for robotic systems
- Own technical tasks and projects from concept through release and hand‑off
- Apply engineering theory to solve complex, real‑world robotics problems
- Conduct pilot studies and formal experiments using Design of Experiments (DOE) principles
- Benchmark performance against state‑of‑the‑art approaches using well‑defined metrics
- Generate technical reports and recommendations based on experimental data
- Collaborate cross‑functionally throughout the product lifecycle
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma process control techniques
- Train and mentor other engineers
Skills:
- Experience with Behavior Trees, Move It
- Robotic hardware design and end‑effector development
- Proficiency in MCAD tools (Siemens NX, Creo, Solid Works)
- Experience with OpenCV, Tensor Flow or Py Torch
- Experience with Web APIs or SDKs
- Embedded Linux experience, including kernel‑level work
- Prior experience working in lab‑intensive robotics environments
You will work at the intersection of robotics manipulation, AI‑driven perception, and real‑world hardware, collaborating closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers from concept through production‑ready systems.
