If you answered yes to those questions, Acara Solutions invites you to apply for an onsite role with our client in Fremont, CA.

• Develop robotic path planning and computer vision algorithms, and lead system integration and testing (hardware and software).
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to design, test, and troubleshoot specialized end‑effectors on a 6‑axis robot.
• Program robotic paths and behaviors for 6‑axis arms and integrate with ROS/ROS

• Design learning pipelines for computer vision algorithms and build, test, and troubleshoot robotic systems.
• Integrate sensors and actuators into robotic systems, analyze and optimize performance and accuracy.
• Create user interfaces for robotic systems.
• Own tasks and projects, ensuring proper release and hand‑off.
• Apply engineering theories and methods to solve technical problems.
• Conduct pilot studies and formal experiments using Design of Experiment principles to benchmark performance against state‑of‑the‑art approaches with well‑reasoned metrics.
• Generate reports to support technical recommendations.
• Work within a cross‑functional team and assist in design, analysis, and performance evaluation from concept to completion.
• Implement process control techniques such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
• Train other engineers.

Required Skills /

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics or Robotics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in robotics (manipulation) and computer vision.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with C++ and Python in Linux environments.
• Minimum 3 years experience with version control (e.g., Git).
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience.

Preferred Skills /

Qualifications:

• Excellent intuition with system hardware and physics.
• Background in robotics, machine learning, reinforcement learning.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of Design of Experiment (DOE) principles.
• Ability to work independently.
• Understanding of statistical process control and analysis.
• Experience with Behavior Tree / Move It.
• Experience with robotic hardware design and end‑effector application development.
• Proficient in MCAD model creation (Siemens NX, Creo, Solidworks).
• Knowledge of C++, Python, OpenCV, Tensor Flow or PyTorch, JS + React, ROS, ROS

• Experience with web APIs or SDKs.
• Embedded Linux experience working with kernels.
• Project management experience.
