We are looking for a hands-on leader with experience in data center and system design, to work directly with Hyve customers to co-engineer solutions and a system roadmap and interpret customer KPIs to Hyve design proposal and differentiation. Responsible for the development of customer solutions and system roadmap strategy that drives Hyve's engineering and customer design proposals. The ideal candidate will be engaging closely with customers at the front end of system design phases and with Hyve's product management, design, and engineering teams to maximize customer value and differentiation and drive design-wins ahead of RFPs.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with customers in system, workload and fine tuning parameter optimization to achieve best possible performance
- Build a high performance team and capability to advance system design, margin maximization and attain the best design points and highest TCO for system and rack level compute density
- Work closely with a high performance engineering team and Hyve’s customer team to design solutions at Data Center and POD level down to Rack and system and models corresponding TCO across compute, memory and datacenter fabric
- Forming and representing Hyve’s product and optimization and differentiation capabilities to customers, partners and ecosystem stakeholders, along with bridging those customer requirements and partner architecture roadmaps to Hyve’s engineering capability is desired as part of creating customized solutions that provide a competitive performance and perf/w edge
- The successful candidate will have a keen understanding of the latest technology developments and industry leading architectures to be able to advance Hyve’s designs with customers and grow the engineering team capabilities and technology pipeline
- 10+ yrs significant experience in engineering management, with a proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams and delivering high-quality products.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience with system architecture, SoC roadmaps across compute/AI/GPUs & DPUs and design, software development and engineering best practices.
- Experience in leading the development of server, memory, storage, and networking solutions.
- Experience in distributed high-volume computing and a strong understanding of hyperscaler environments and data center designs
- Excellent leadership, mentorship, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate the company's engineering vision and strategy to a variety of audiences.
- A track record of staying up to date with the latest developments in technology and engineering and continuously learning and improving.
- A bachelor’s and or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
