Advanced Quality Manager, Optical Solutions

Join Molex as an Advanced Quality Manager, working closely with the development team to ensure quality excellence from design to manufacturing. This role reports directly to the Director of Customer Quality.

• Develop quality systems for new products from component to assembly.
• Monitor and guide product development to apply advanced quality planning.
• Accountable to product development, manufacturing plants, and customers on quality issues.
• Perform complex problem solving and prioritize multiple new product challenges.
• Champion lessons learned and reduce failure modes through predictive engineering analysis.
• Facilitate development of DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, Qualification Plans, etc.
• Provide root cause and statistical analysis to solve design issues, NPI challenges, and customer complaints.
• Ensure completion of required documentation for customer acceptance of new products and modifications.
• Partner with plant quality engineers and suppliers to meet new product quality and timing goals.
• Lead 8D problem solving and resolution of customer or internal quality complaints during launch.
• Support prevention of repeat issues and systemic improvements to product development processes.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Management.
• Minimum 5 years in quality engineering.
• Experience in quality for high‑tech semiconductor or optical products/components.
• Knowledge of metrology and GD&T.
• Experience performing data analysis.
• Fluent in Mandarin.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally 5‑15%.

For this role, we anticipate paying $130,000 - $160,000 per year. The role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
