Job Description
  • Drive Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA):
    Review and approve product and process CAPA plans, ensuring proper root cause analysis and robust corrective actions.
  • Reliability & Equipment Oversight:
    Evaluate reliability testing, equipment calibration, and verification processes.
  • Internal & External Audits:
    Execute internal QMS/EMS audits (ISO 9001/14001) and coordinate UL and regulatory audits.
  • Customer & Supplier Communication:
    Lead regular technical reviews, conference calls, and provide structured reporting.
  • Cross-Functional Cooperation:
    Partner with Production, Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams to meet quality standards.
  • Quality Strategy Execution:
    Implement Quality Department initiatives and proactive solutions to improve process maturity.
  • System Integration Knowledge:
    Understand server and rack integration processes including sub-assemblies, server builds, and rack-level configurations.
Core Responsibilities (Highly Technical)

1. Advanced Quality Engineering

  • Perform root cause analysis using 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, PFMEA, DFMEA, and DOE.
  • Lead process capability studies (Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk) and implement improvement plans.
  • Develop and validate measurement methods including full MSA (Gage R&R, linearity, stability).
  • Conduct reliability engineering activities such as HALT, HASS, ESS, thermal and vibration stress tests.

2. Manufacturing & Process Validation

  • Develop and qualify manufacturing processes using PFMEA, control plans, and inspection strategies.
  • Perform IQ/OQ/PQ validations for manufacturing equipment and test systems.
  • Define CTQ/CTP parameters and integrate them into dashboards and process controls.

3. Data & Analytics

  • Perform advanced statistical analysis (ANOVA, regression, SPC, trend analysis) using JMP, Minitab, or Python.
  • Build and maintain real‑time dashboards, SPC charts, and Pareto models.
  • Analyze machine, test, and operational data to identify systemic failure patterns.

4. Supplier Quality Engineering

  • Conduct supplier PFMEA, PPAP, APQP reviews, and technical audits.
  • Approve First Article Inspections (FAI) and validate supplier processes.
  • Drive DPPM reduction through structured supplier improvement programs.

5. Product & Hardware Quality (Electronics/PCBA)

  • Perform PCBA-level failure analysis (shorts, opens, SI issues, thermal failures, component defects).
  • Collaborate with Design, Test Engineering, and NPI teams on schematic review, BoM risk assessment, and DFM/DFA improvements.
  • Define and approve test coverage for ICT, FCT, BIST, BERT, boundary scan, AOI/X-ray.
Qualifications
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 3‑5+ years of experience in quality engineering or quality control.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and use measurement tools.
  • Understanding of server‑level component design, operation, and system integration.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with SPC principles and quality system methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment, including extended hours or travel as business needs require.
