Position SummarySFBUE is seeking an entrepreneurial Vice President to lead the execution and scaling of new educational initiatives. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for turning strategy into action—launching programs, building partnerships, and establishing the operational foundation needed to grow a portfolio of forward‑looking education offerings. The Vice President will work closely with the President to move initiatives from concept to market, helping position SFBUE as a leader in applied, technology‑enabled education.
This is a full‑time, exempt position with eligibility for a hybrid work arrangement.
This is a unique opportunity to help build a new model of education—one that connects learning directly to opportunity, leverages emerging technologies responsibly, and expands access for diverse populations in the heart of Silicon Valley.
Key Responsibilities- Lead implementation of new programs, including AI‑enabled academic offerings, short‑form credentials, and experiential learning initiatives.
- Build partnerships with employers, technology firms, schools, and community organizations to connect education with workforce opportunities.
- Develop scalable operating processes, performance metrics, and delivery models across multiple initiatives.
- Oversee program budgets and ensure disciplined execution aligned with strategic goals.
- Coordinate with academic, technical, and external collaborators to bring offerings to market.
- Identify opportunities to expand access to education for underserved and non‑traditional learners.
- Help translate innovation into sustainable, revenue‑supported programming.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 10+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, education innovation, or venture/early‑stage environments.
- Demonstrated success launching new initiatives, programs, or business lines.
- Strong partnership‑building and project execution skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑moving environment while engaging institutional stakeholders.
- Master’s degree (MBA, M.Ed., or similar).
- Experience working across education, technology, or workforce development sectors.
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms, applied AI solutions, or commercialization of new offerings.
- Base Salary Range: $215,000 – $250,000 annually.

Additional variable compensation tied to program launch, growth milestones, and organizational outcomes. - Benefits:
