Job Title: Graphic Designer

Location: Fremont, CA

Pay Range: Up to $50/hr DOE

Employment Type: Temp to Hire

Work Schedule: Hybrid, 4 days onsite, 1 day offsite

About The Opportunity

This is an execution-forward design role supporting a fast-paced marketing and creative team. You will be working on digital assets that are seen across the organization, including content tied to cultural initiatives, employee recognition, internal communications, and events.

Depending on timing, a new hire may quickly jump into projects supporting initiatives such as Black History Month, Pride, and other community-focused programs, as well as ongoing digital signage and web-based content. The team values designers who can jump in, manage deadlines, and collaborate closely with creative and marketing leadership.

What you'll be doing
  • Manage digital property updates, including website, intranet, and social media channels
  • Execute and manage the organization’s digital signage program
  • Support the content development process, including light editing, closed captions, and subtitles
  • Produce video content for both internal and external audiences
  • Work closely with the Creative Director to produce and deliver creative assets, including:
    • Social media and website tiles
    • Email banners
    • Digital signage elements
    • Event-related creative
  • Prepare art files for production, including video and photo editing
  • Bring creative ideas forward with strong attention to detail
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify relevant content and stories
Your qualifications include
  • BFA in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 2+ years of professional graphic design experience
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Illustrator
    • Photoshop
    • In Design
    • Word Press
    • Power Point
    • Premiere Pro
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a skilled background in digital design
  • Portfolio link required and should clearly show web and video work
  • Knowledge of layout, typography, illustration, identity, and digital production across platforms
  • Understanding of how audiences engage with digital content and media
Additional skills and attributes
  • Positive mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining creative quality
  • Self-motivated, confident, and collaborative
  • Strong time management skills and ability to balance multiple deadlines
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Bonus experience with 3D design or additional creative tools
