ProgramOverview
The DRYCO Construction Internship Program is designed to provide college students with immersive, hands‑on experience in the construction industry. Over the course of the program, interns will work closely with field experts, project managers, and construction professionals to gain practical knowledge, develop technical skills, and understand the operations behind multi‑fasceted projects.
Interns will engage in both office and field activities covering bidding, project management, scheduling, cost estimation, quality control, and safety practices. This structured program gives students a unique opportunity to explore the various career paths within construction while contributing to real projects that impact local communities.
Job DescriptionAs a Construction Intern, you will support DRYCO’s operational teams on a variety of pavement, concrete, and fencing projects. You will gain exposure to the full cycle of construction management in both office and field settings. Day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
- Assisting project managers and estimators with scheduling, budgeting, and project planning.
- Conducting site visits to observe field operations in asphalt, seal coating, striping, concrete, and fencing.
- Learning and applying DRYCO’s industry‑recognized safety practices.
- Collaborating with team members across departments to ensure efficient and high‑quality results for clients.
This role will provide exposure to both the technical and business aspects of the construction industry, preparing participants for future careers in project engineering, estimating, and construction management.
Candidate Profile- Open to juniors, seniors, and recent college graduates.
- Interest in construction, civil engineering, project management, or a related field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

- Must be legally entitled to work in the United States.
