Location: Fremont, CA (Onsite)

Duration: 6‑Month Contract (High likelihood of extension or conversion)

Pay Rate: $50–$61/hour (based on experience and education)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to play a critical role in large‑scale factory buildouts and infrastructure upgrades at a highly advanced manufacturing facility in Fremont, CA. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and central to the transformation of complex industrial spaces into fully operational production environments.

You will lead field execution for demolition, new construction, and manufacturing line installations, working closely with construction engineering, facilities, design, commissioning, and manufacturing teams. This position requires strong leadership in the field, deep technical knowledge, and the ability to manage schedule, safety, quality, and cost in a highly dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors and direct-hire labor
• Manage industrial and commercial construction scopes supporting factory buildouts and infrastructure upgrades
• Coordinate daily with Project Managers, construction engineering, facilities, and manufacturing stakeholders
• Develop and execute detailed construction plans and cost-loaded schedules
• Drive project schedules, proactively identify risks, and escalate construction issues as needed
• Oversee demolition and installation of manufacturing lines and supporting infrastructure
• Ensure all work complies with design documents, specifications, and constructability best practices
• Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, secure, and compliant jobsite in accordance with OSHA and state regulations
• Lead quality control efforts and coordinate required inspections
• Track progress against schedule and budget, providing clear field updates to leadership

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent hands-on experience
• Proven experience as a Superintendent on $50M+ industrial or commercial construction projects
• Strong background supervising electrical scopes (480V and below)
• Ability to read and interpret:
• Single-line drawings
• Wiring and control logic diagrams
• Electrical schematics and construction design documents
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Experience developing and managing cost-loaded schedules and tracking field performance
• Strong understanding of constructability and ability to provide feedback during design and execution
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead diverse field teams
