What to Expect
Self Perform Construction is currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager. As a Construction Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of various self-perform mechanical construction projects. You will lead our internal Tesla Construction team and collaborate cross-functionally with design, construction management and manufacturing departments to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
What You'll Do- Plan, estimate, coordinate, and oversee all phases of the construction project, ensuring it aligns with specifications and meets quality standards
- Supervise and lead a multidisciplinary construction team, fostering a collaborative and safety-focused work environment
- Manage project timelines, budget, and resources to ensure efficient and cost-effective completion of the projects
- Identify project risks and opportunities, actively managing them throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, facilities and commissioning teams to address design modifications and ensure compliance with regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing concerns promptly
- Enforce high standards for document configuration control and ensure incorporation of RFIs into final Record drawing
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in managing large-scale construction projects, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector that were ground-up and/or retrofit projects
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and process systems
- Proficiency in material take offs and estimating from construction drawings
- Strong skills in Construction baseline development, change control, cost/schedule performance, and variance analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project challenges
- Ability to travel to various project locations as needed (up to 50%), often on short notice

Expected Compensation
$80,000 - $174,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
