The Business Process Development Intern will be supporting the continuous improvement of Alamar’s process to develop industry-leading products. Being part of the Program Management Office (PMO’s), the individual will help to identify opportunities for improvements in the product development methodology and implement improvements across multiple functional areas in the organization.
This internship provides a unique opportunity to learn about the structured approach to new product development and to continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities- Analyze selected PMO core processes and identify opportunities for improvements.
- Implement revisions to processes as needed, heading cross-functional reviews.
- Development and delivery of training.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong analytical skills; ability to document processes clearly and logically
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross functional environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Coursework or experience in process improvement, operations, or project management
- Familiarity with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Miro)
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement concepts
- Interest in business operations, PMO, or organizational effectiveness
The base salary range for this full-time position is $25/hour - $35/hour. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
