Job Summary
This role is crucial in supporting our accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and contributing to the overall financial health of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately enter financial transactions into the accounting system.
- Maintain and update accounting records and files; prepare month‑end accruals, journal entries, and corrective postings in ERP system.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, especially prepaid, accrued expenses, and liability accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable; monitor outstanding invoices and payments.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Reconcile inventory accounts and conduct periodic physical inventory checks with respective departments.
- Prepare payroll and bonus journal entries; calculate accruals related to payroll and wages, 401k, PTO, bonus, and sick day accruals.
- Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes; assist in the preparation of documents for internal and external audits.
- Provide administrative support to Division Controller and other Finance team members as needed.
- Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- 1‑2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
