Wir suchen eine/n Labortechnologin/-technologen (w/m/d), um unser F&E-Team für Batterien und Strukturklebstoffe in Freienbach zu verstärken.
Main Responsibilities- Development of structural adhesives for battery assembly in future e-mobility as well as lightweight body construction in a full-time position.
- Execution of efficient and effective material developments based on solid chemical knowledge and a strong focus on scientific methods, hypothesis-driven formulation and experimental design, ideally utilizing data mining capabilities.
- Supporting cross-functional teams, especially production, is key to our success in driving the market launch of developed technologies in accordance with DuPont’s product commercialization processes.
- Laboratory technician with outstanding chemical understanding; a
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry or a related field is a minimum requirement. - Technological expertise in polyurethane-based, epoxy, and acrylate adhesive technologies.
- Knowledge of project management, excellent organizational skills, and thorough documentation of work performed.
- Independent, motivated, and resilient personality with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve outstanding results.
- Interpersonal skills for building strong customer relationships to drive business outcomes.
- Understanding of the importance of sustainability in material development.
- Business acumen.
- Proficiency in German and English is required; additional language skills are desirable.
- Skills or expertise in information technologies, especially data mining and machine learning, are advantageous.
- Independent development of adhesive formulations using various technologies and chemistries to meet project requirements.
- Hands-on laboratory work, preparation of adhesive formulations, chemical and physical characterization, and testing against customer specifications.
- Takes on project leadership and collaborates with stakeholders across functions to ensure project completion and commercialization of the technology.
- Simultaneous work on multiple projects and tasks.
- Responsible for audit-compliant project documentation according to DuPont development standards.
- Accountability for intellectual property protection.
- Understanding and implementation of DuPont’s business strategy.
- Support in preparing project stage-gate meetings based on DuPont development standards.
- Execution of all work in accordance with DuPont’s EH&S (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.
- Proactive contribution to continuous improvement in occupational safety.
- Application of scientific methods and sound scientific and technical principles to solve problems.
- Solving clearly defined as well as more complex problems with minimal guidance.
