Junior Accountant

Founded in 2019, our client is a tech-driven telecom scale-up, commercially active in a dozen of countries, with nearly USD 1 billion in secured revenue for the next 5 to 10 years — with strong growth ahead.

The Junior International Accountant supports the finance team in managing accounting operations across three Swiss legal entities. This role also involves regular interactions with the international operations (Dubai, Croatia mainly).

The role is based in Canton Schwyz, within walking distance from the train station Freienbach. This is a chance to join a highly friendly workplace and contribute together to expanding the business globally, in close partnership with the head of finance, the CFO and the CEO of the firm.

• Process invoices and payments for international vendors.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on collections.

• Record and reconcile daily transactions in multiple currencies.
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries for international entities.

• Ensure adherence to IFRS and local GAAP standards.
• Assist with tax filings and regulatory requirements in various jurisdictions.

• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.

• Handle foreign exchange adjustments and intercompany transactions.

• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (master’s preferred), or Fachausweis

• 0–2 years of accounting experience (internship or entry-level role preferred).
• Exposure to international accounting or multi-currency transactions is a plus.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Affinitiy with accounting software (the company works with Netsuite and Embat).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
