The Senior Procurement Specialist (SPS) supports the Procurement Agent Manager (PAM), manages high-value/complex procurement packages, prepares/reviews procurement documentation, and mentors other team members.
Relocation Requirement- If hired, candidate will have to relocate to Sierra Leone.
- Bachelor’s in a relevant field or recognized procurement certification.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant public procurement experience.
- At least 2 projects involving diverse procurement categories (goods, works, services).
- Experience under at least 2 donor frameworks (MCC, WB, ADB, AfDB); experience with contract administration/monitoring.
- In-depth understanding of procurement processes and contract management.
- Document drafting, evaluation, and reporting.
- Familiarity with international procurement standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluency in English; competency in Microsoft Office.
