QA Analyst

The Mundy Companies, a leader in the industrial maintenance, services, and construction fields, is currently hiring the following for a long‑term position in the Freeport, TX area:

12‑hour shifts. 4 On / 4 Off. Rotating days/nights

• Participate in all required site safety activities
• Follow site and business procedures as well as Mundy Corporate policies
• Analyze controls, in‑process, and finished product samples as required, recording data in appropriate databases
• Conduct raw material testing in support of manufacturing operations
• Review SAP QM data for correctness to ensure product quality and conformance to customer specifications
• Monitor data for deviations and trends, reporting excursions to appropriate personnel
• Identify opportunities for improvements to lab work practices and communicate them to supervision
• Provide trial support and perform special projects as required
• Help to maintain ISO 9001 and customer specific certifications and procedures
• Work with co‑workers as a team to facilitate optimal operations of the laboratory.

• Have a HS Diploma or equivalent
• Are willing and able to work 12hr rotating shifts (Day/night/weekend/holidays)
• Have knowledge of standard laboratory analytical techniques and instrumentation
• Have good attendance, performance, and safety record
• Are a good team player with communication skills and attention to details
• Have experience in QA and in working with other departments, i.e., production, logistics
• Are able to work unsupervised in an efficient manner
• Have basic computer skills, i.e., Excel, Word, etc.

This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe, efficient manner. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing is also required.
