About you and this role
The Packaged Site Logistics Technician is responsible for safe, efficient and accurate loading, unloading, preparation, packaging and movement of packaged raw materials, final product and waste across the site. Working together with wider Site Logistics and Operations teams, the Packaged Site Logistics Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the daily operational priorities of the site are fulfilled.
Application of a diverse range of technical skills to operate various equipment and tools is required, as is an eye for detail to ensure strict adherence to internal controls. A commitment to safety and operational excellence are also critical attributes of the role.
The Packaged Site Logistics Technician supports both Material Flow (Site Logistics/Logistics) and Make Product (Operations) Work Processes; therefore, the role requires the ability to be organized, prioritize and coordinate daily requirements and to work collaboratively with others.
Responsibilities
- Material Handling:
Load, unload, and transport raw materials, packaging items, finished goods, and waste while ensuring safety, legal compliance, and accurate transaction recording. - Equipment Operation:
Operate packaging and sampling equipment to prepare products according to specifications. - Internal Movements & Outbound Prep:
Organize internal material movements and kits, confirm picking activities, and prepare outbound deliveries with accurate load details. - Warehouse Management:
Receive, store, and book packaged materials; maintain inventory accuracy through checks and audits; manage shipping documents aligned with physical loads. - Safety & Compliance:
